Claire Harvey-East is a classically trained soprano. A talented performer with a breath-taking vocal ability, a combined richly varied tone and breathtaking brilliance.

Claire performs a beautiful mix of Classical, Opera, Show Tunes and contemporary Classical-Crossover music.

Her early training was as a mezzo-soprano, but she soon discovered that her easy top range enabled her to transition to the high soprano repertoire.

Claire has a large-scaled, powerful soprano voice, with an outstanding vocal range: her vocal ability, stamina, varied repertoire and stage-presence have been widely admired. Performing to either high quality, professional backing tracks or with live musicians, Claire will add that special touch to any event.

Claire has been singing and performing from a very early age. She began her training at Pattisons Theatre Arts, appearing in panto at age 11.

Continuing her training as a mezzo-soprano at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. In her final year of training she represented Wales on a tour of Germany with the BTM Silver Band.

Following her change to the soprano repertoire she has trained and performed around Europe, with many of the world’s finest vocal coaches and pianists. Including: Jeremy Silver, Rosalind Plowright (MBE), Gail Pearson, Imelda Drumm and Claire Rutter.

Claire continues to expand her repertoire working with renowned répétiteur Janet Haney, and has recently completed further training in London at the 'National Opera Studio', the 'Associated Studios' and in South Wales at the 'Wales International Academy of Voice'.

Travelling extensively throughout the UK and Europe, Claire is concentrating on her performances in the field of Opera and her own Classical-Crossover show.
